Pool Deck Cleaning in Northwest Arkansas

A pool deck is the one surface at your house where slippery is dangerous, not just ugly. Wet feet, running kids, and a film of algae on shaded concrete is a bad combination. We clean pool decks across Northwest Arkansas, removing the algae, mildew, and sunscreen residue that make them slick.

Pool decks grow the same film everything else here does, and faster. Splash-out keeps the surface damp, humidity feeds the growth, and the shaded side goes green first. By mid-season most decks look years older than they are.

We clean concrete, stamped and stained concrete, pavers, travertine, and kool deck coatings throughout Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista, Fayetteville, Springdale, and surrounding towns. Quotes are free.

01

Our Pool Deck Process

The method depends on the material. Broom-finished concrete can take a surface cleaner. Stamped, sealed, or coated decks need lower pressure. Travertine and pavers get the gentlest approach.

We pre-treat with detergents that kill the algae at the root, then clean with the right equipment for the surface. Killing the growth matters. Blasting the film off leaves roots behind, and the slick comes back in weeks.

We direct wash water away from the pool and skim anything that drifts in. The deck is ready to walk as soon as it dries.

02

Slippery Decks Are a Safety Problem

The green-black film on shaded pool concrete is the same growth that makes boat ramps treacherous. On a surface where everyone is barefoot and half the traffic is kids moving fast, that film is a real hazard.

Cleaning restores the concrete's natural texture and grip. If you host pool parties or have young kids, an annual deck cleaning is one of the cheapest safety measures on the property.

03

Protecting Your Deck and Your Pool

Stamped concrete, travertine, and pavers are expensive surfaces. Trapped grime degrades sealers and holds moisture in joints where freeze-thaw works on them every winter. Cleaning extends the finish, and it is the required prep before any resealing.

We are just as careful with the pool itself. We work in sections, control the runoff, and keep detergents out of your water. Your water chemistry should be the same after we leave as before.

04

When to Clean a Pool Deck

Late spring is best, after the pollen and before swim season peaks. Fall works too, clearing the season's sunscreen and leaf staining before winter locks it in.

Many customers bundle the pool deck with a driveway and patio cleaning. The equipment is already on site, so quoting them together is cheaper than separate trips.
